Many things can make us feel stressed. At work you can't avoid it if your team mates are annoying or your boss is demanding too much or your clients are so hard to deal with, etc.
I work as a programmer and having a code that won't run as expected can really make me feels stressed. It doesn't happen most of the time anyway. One good thing in my company is that almost any other software engineer is willing to help. I just have to select the right person to ask about the problem.
One way I do to distress is going out with my team mates to eat on fast food stall. I guess it is true from studies that stress make us eat more. Sharing your disappointments and experiences with people around me help me also to distress. It feels good pouring out the burdens you feel inside.
How about you? What stresses you? How do you cope with stress?

I work as technical support representative and our line of business actually deals with business customers for an ISP. So stress is something that is normal for my everyday job. I hear people complain and vent about terrible service. Sometimes people may be too demanding on getting things resolved when it's impossible for us to do so.
What I do to deal with it is I usually put the person on hold or if it's an extremely stressful call I take my break just to loosen up or I just share my experience with my teammates and we just try to laugh and joke about it.

It may have been a usual situation for you to be stressed that you've learn to cope with it already. Costumers have different attitudes and we don't know which one can really make us feel stressed until we get into business with them. Its just right to refresh ourselves before we reach our stress limits and face its consequences. I also found sharing experiences with teammates help reduce or totally eliminate stress.

I used to work as a programmer before and I get so into my codes that I end up not eating lunch at all unless I get my apps to run smoothly. However, that doesn't stress me down. I am more stressed with people than by things and other stuff. It is when Analyst give me unclear requirements and then expect me to give them a definite code that I'm really annoyed and stressed. I distress by ranting about it, hahaha!
Now, working as a Social Media Processor, erroneous blog posts stress me down easily. I get so irritated with bloggers who can't understand simple instructions. To distress, I stop working for a few minutes, walk around, get myself some snacks and then return in front of my station feeling refreshed.

I currently work as a programmer and I can relate to your previous work. I also felt stressed once when the code I wrote wasn't enough to handle the business rules expected by my Business Analyst. But it's part of my job. Now, I just have to coordinate with my teammates to avoid missing requirements when finalizing my codes. To distress, me and some of my teammates also go out like you. We would buy foods from a nearby fast food stall and come back after a meal. It's really an effective way to distress. Talking with each other also reduces stress. It helps a lot to reduce the burden inside.

One thing that mainly stresses me is whenever me and my boyfriend have fights. It just really affects me so much. Also whenever I don't have money, that is a real stress!
