Does coffee keep you awake if you drink it at night?

Hey Lisa,I don't think coffee works on me.Yes,coffee does have somewhat effect on us,especially when buring our oil at night``I'm quiting coffee now coz I wanna prepare for my 1st baby in the coming year~`wow~~

I try to avoid caffeine as much as possible. Once in a great while I will have some soda with it or a cappacino (rarely). Not only do I have trouble sleeping (my legs get restless and I get jittery), but I also get a jumpy heart beat (scary!)........... so YES it keeps me awake all right!

Not really. I always feel refreshing when i take anything warm. But i dont feel i can stay awake if i take coffee. People say it helps in being awake. But for me, it actually triggeres a good sleep! Lol! Whenever i take hot coffe or milk, I'l get a nice sleep that nigh!

Coffee doesn't always work for me. Sugary food and sweet stuff help to keep me awake when I need to pull an all-nighter. I don't know why coffee doesn't work for me.:( Oh well I don't like coffee that much anyway. I only drink the blended coffee drinks. Or if it has a lot of sugar and cream. :)

I think I'd addicted to caffeine therefore, it doesn't keep me awake.

nope not at all. i still feel sleepy even if i drink coffee. i drink lipovitan or red bull to keep me awake if i want to

I like coffee and can drink coffee at any time of the day, it doesn't influence on my sleep if i want to.

the only time coffee wakes me up is when i drink it in the morning. otherwise i can drink coffee anytime of the day and i can still go to bed when i want its great cause i really love coffee!!

I don't have any problems sleeping at night not matter what I eat or drink. I have always been one of those people who sits down for a few minutes at night, and I 'm out like a light.

I will definitely avoid drinking coffee at night. I once tried and it kept me awake the whole nite while I need to get to office early the next day. The experience was bad because it made me so sleepy.

It is fact that I am affraid of drinking coffee at night.It keeps me awake at night sometime.I avoid drinking coffee at night.

I drink coffee in the mornings when I get to work to wake me up, and it seems to do the job.. But when I drink coffee at night, it seems to help me sleep because it's hot. I don't know.. maybe it has to do with the time of day.. or maybe it has something to do with how active I am at the time I drink it..
