A "Falling" dream is very common. Almost all of us dream about this. I read in Sigmund Freud's interpretation of dreams, one of the causes the things that happen around us while we're sleeping. One is, one of your legs is dangling on the side of your bed, or the rise and fall of your lungs. This is not the exact meaning of course. It would really depend on how you appear to be falling in your dream.

I used to dream of falling and then being able to fly. it was really cool and I was always sad when I woke up from the dreams because it was so freeing. But the beginning of some of them was really scary because it would start as me trying to fly and instead starting to fall, then I would suddenly be able to fly before I hit the ground. Whooo it was a scary feeling but adrenaline inducing also.

When you have a dream that repeat itself very often may be that you have an unsolved problem, or dilemma, which is playing in the back of your mind. I used to have this recurrent dream about not being able to reach the ground unless I jumped, but I was to high up so I knew if I jumped I would be hurt or even die! But guess what? in my last dream I FOUND THE DOOR! and I was able to walk out and away from the place. The elation that I felt then is still with me today. I knew I had walked away from somthing that was holding me back, I feel free today!

I dream about falling a lot actually, but I never fly or anything. I just dream of falling and wake up with a sick feeling in my stomach. It always makes me think I'm falling off my bed.

i used to dream of falling quite a bit. havent for a long time now though, thankfully! i was always falling from a very tall building and would turn myself around during the fall so i could see the sidewalk coming at me..or rather me coming at the sidewalk lol! "they" say that if you hit the ground in your dreams that you die in real life..lol pretty sure that isnt true, but you never know right? anyways..i would put one hand out in a vain attempt at stopping the fall and would wake up JUST as my fingertips touched the concrete!! sometimes i actually felt like id just been pressing on something with my first 2 fingers when i awoke!! rather scary to think about, and even scarier to wake up that way!!

I did not dream about falling off my scooter; I really fell off it. And I fell off many times--twice when I was learning, once when I was riding pillion with my stupid ex boyfriend who was going too fast for his own good and then again when a car nearly swept me off the road. The last two falls were bad and I had to take medical help. Got bruised and battered everywhere. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

Yup. Me too. I just came home from a camping week. Due to too much exhaustion and 'hiking' stuff in my mind, I had a dream, walking along a cliff, then on a very narrow bridge, then I lost my balance. I was falling, but I then I thought, this is not real. Poof! I woke up with half of my body hangin on the edge of the bed.
