Like mother like daughter??

I have always heard growing up... Like mother, like daughter. Well hearing that so many times growing up i fear for my daughter. I became pregnant at an early age. The age I had my daughter is the age my daughter is now. My mother, also became pregnant at an early age. I keep my daughter involved in different things. Volleyball, Dance class, Softball. But is it enough ,I wonder or am I being over protective? Give me your opinion please?
