Have you watched the coffin? I caught the preview of it last weekend with my wife. And to tell you the truth, I do not care much for it! In my own opinion, it is not a very nice movie to catch. I find it a waste of time and money to watch this movie. First of all, the sypnosis: The movie began with the a news cast of the ritual. In the news cast, there were a lot of people who gave their testimony of how good this ritual is. Then the two people are shown to seek this coffin ritual to help them in their life. The guy's girlfriend woke from her coma. The girl, her cancer is all gone. Their wishes have been granted and they are happy that it did. A series of weird event followed their recovery. And one thing led to another, letting the two of them to discover that when fate decides to take a life, no one can cheat the Death master of his prize. Moral of the story, when you are meant to die, you will die, no matter what you do to try and prevent it. So, now, my comments: Well, the introduction was very good. We are introduced to the coffin ritual via a very interesting and short news cast which says a lot. I was, well, intriqued to watch on. What follows in disappointment after disappointment. The scenes were no longer properly introduced. And we have to do a lot of guess work to finally realise nearing the end of the show what that scene mean. Example, we were shown a scene where Karen Mok stares at a bunch of x-rays. That is it. We have no clue to what those x-rays mean. Or how they relate to her. We only know its significance much much later, nearing the end of the show what it means. And the scenes do not gel well at all. One scene do not lead to the other. It is like all over the place. And at the end of the show, you are left wondering what the heck have you just watched. The feeling of wasting 90 mins, paying a weekend ticket price to watch this piece of movie was really not worth the money it is printed on. I personally feel the show could have been done so much better. There was no suspense in this horror movie. There is no smooth transition of one scene to the next. So if you are asking whether to watch this show or not? Well, I am going to tell you, wait for the DVD. Not worth going to the big screen to watch it. You'd be better off watching SAW IV. But that is another story for another day.

From what u describe, it's seems familiar and similiar to final destination.. hehe ^_^ When one is fated to die, they must die, no matter how long they prolong their life.. hehe Yeah, i did watch abit of the trailer and i thought it's nice, but now i have heard your comments, i think i will give this movie a miss.. haha ^_^ PLus, the moive tickets are on the rise, and it's not worth spending so much to watch something that has no link from one scene to other.. haha

Yeah, I was also attracted to the show by the trailer. Then those reviews in the papers and magazines, they put such a good rating on the movie. Humbug! Propaganda for the movie. It is not even scary at all! Not once was I shocked, or had the hair on the back of my neck stand at all. And the loose sequencing in the movie, either from lousy script or lousy editing, makes it all the more not worth the weekend ticket to watch it!

The cover and the concept is very interesting. That was what attracted me to the movie initially as well. The trailer was also very interesting. And the teaser was also making the movie all horror, mystic and fear about the ritual. But that is all the excitement one would expect. The movie, in my opinion, just didn't turn out as interesting as the teaser or the trailer.
