Do you like using smiley emoticons?

I love to use emoticons. In fact, in other forums where there is a bigger limit, it is so much more fun! The emotions and feeling you can add to a post or discussion with the aid or a small little icon is amazing! If only mylot could increase the limit to 8 rather than the current limit of 3, I am sure postings would be so much more colorful and fun to read!

Hi Maxilimian, Sometimes I will use the smileys and really wish that I could use more than three and then other times I just tend to type LOL instead as quicker sometimes if trying to answer against the clock. In some discussion responese they seem to be more appliciable in others but I will give you my three in todays one LOL. Ellie :D

Hi dear sure i like to use smilies in my discussion, in my post, in my replies u know some times simple action and smily can do miracles than words Action speaks louders than words so i am one of them who use smilies but where appropriate take care

when i havent reached 200 post i envy emoticon users but now that i can use it -i find myself less using them maybe because they take a while to load and always default in the beginning of my post and not where my curser is. but i try to use it depending on the situation and my reply-coz some expression are not included

I LOVE using smiley emotions! I just recently found out how to use them! I think the reason many mylotters do not use smiley emotions is either because they do not want to or they do not know how like me. I think if they really wanted to use them, they would ask around like I did. That is my reasoning.

Hi, I think use of Emoticons should be based on the content and type of our Post . Using emoticons with some topics seems rather odd. So;I use it sparingly .

sometimes i do use the emoticon function especially if it helps me get my point across or if it helps me stress out something. otherwise, i just stick to my words as i know that these are enough to get my thoughts on mylot. cheers!!!

Hi there Maxilimian. I try to use them often, but sometimes i don't believe they would fit in some of my responses, so i don't use them always. I believe that they are a nice way of expressing your feelings at time and they are a lot of fun.

Hey maxilimian! I like to use the emoticons, but I do sometimes forget if I am in a hurry to submit my response. It depends on the discussion too sometimes. Some discussions really need the emoticons and others it doesn't matter and others are serious and I just forget to use them. I do love them though. Sometimes they just add the right expressions where needed! A mylot friend of mine wrote to the mylot administration to add some new ones. She had started a discussion about what new ones mylotters would like to see and we voted and she sent them to the administration and so far no new emoticons! I'm glad that you like them though. Keep using them for your discussions and I will try to take the time and remember to use them to!

Hi maxilimian! This is my third time to typed and answer this discussion because twice I send it its always failed and I probably have problem in my connection and if this one doesn't send, I'll give up! Please forgive me that I'm off the topic here! I think if the people here on mylot reached 200 posts they will be able to use or add smilies on their post. I am one of those people who rarely add smilies though. I guess sometimes it depends on the discussion and sometime I just don't feel like. But I will use my limit here on your topic.

i havent reach 200 post thats why i cant post emoticons but i really want to use it. it helps you express your self. hehe.. and it looks cute. im looking forward to use it since im close to 200 post already. hehe.. happy mylotting!

Hi...I'm patiently waiting for my 200 moment to come.So I can start using Smiley emoticons after that..hehehe...I think the emoticons makes your post looks more cool and nice.
