Worried for his safety if he is our next president,This is the second or third time I've heard of some radical group planning for his assanation. Recently it was two skinhead's that planned mass murders of blacks.

My concern with him is not just for our safety, but for the direction our nation is heading. We are set in place for the biggest drift from our constitutional principals than we may ever have seen in this nation. I am fearfull of the civil uprising that this may bring on.

I am worried about this. I think that if Obama wins the election, I would be very surprised if he made it to inauguration. I would never wish an assassination, I just know that there are some VERY dangerous bigots in this country. So a vote for Obama would put Biden in the driver's seat!

Thanks so much for your comments. I agree these are dangerous times for a black president, I'm worried of the after effects if something happens to Obama, especially Bidon being president.

Recently it was two skinhead's that planned mass murders of blacks. I just heard about that this morning actually...Would i be worried for HIS safety, of course, all things considered...As for worrying about what will happen to the U.S..no not at all....I would be very worried for the ppl if McCain won though.

I appreciate the comments. But if your worried about Obama's safety how could you not worry for our country. Thats just a little disheartening to saying you'd worry more for the people if Mccain was president is a shame. I don't like either candidates so much but our country is what this election is about and where the next leader will take us.

Hi Seventy, I have had several different people tell me that they think that someone will eventually assasinate Obama if he becomes President. I would hope this would not happen, of course. I personally don't want Obama to win the election, but I just pray that God will intervene somehow for our nation. It is a scary time right now. God bless.

Yes I think that it is possible that someone would try to assassinate him but that is no reason not to vote for him. If you vote for McCain and he has a heart attack you would put Palin in as president and that is a very scary thought. I would be surprised if the secret service was not able to protect him in this day and age. Security is much better than it used to be. Of course it all depends if the security want him killed them he has no hope.

I am concerned not only for his personal welfare the welfare of his wife and daughters, but also for the welfare of our country as a whole. This election seems to be highly charged with radicals on both sides and there is potential for violence regardless of who is elected.

I appreciate the comments. My concern is everyone close to him including our country. This is a really strong campaign with alot of emotions that could easily get out control.Lets hope not and get alot of the terrorism under control including these home grown radicals no matter what cause they support.
