Well, the time has to come to dress our kids up and solicite them for candy!!! My little g's are going as pretty princesses. Both of them. We will take them trick or treating to family and close friends while my husband passes out candy then after that we are off to party! A church haloween party for children that is... As for us, we haven't had a life for oh, about 6.15 years, since September 26, 2002. Our joy comes from seeing the joy on our little ones faces when they are putting on their "kotumes" as the little one calls them. I am excited although it doesn't hold the same reverence as it did when I was a kid and teenager ya know. Not the same giddy excitement that came from "dressing up" and roaming the streets in my one night of true, unsupervised freedom. Well, however you are celebrating this year, or if your not, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I live in the country and we get no trick or treaters. WE go to my sisters neighborhood and take my daughter around. I love giving out the candy and seeing all the kids costumes. I always volunteer to do that at my sisters once we get back from trick or treating with my daughter. It is a fun holiday for the kids.

I love it too, passing out the candy is actually my favorite part of it. Before we had kids I would pass it out at my moms house. Our house is kinda off the beated path as well and I'm not sure if we will get any kids here as this is our first year here. I hope so though, my husband is a big kid with halloween and goes all out with decorations in the yard. Last year we had kids running off down our driveway once they saw our blow up frankenstein. Hope not this year! Have a wonderful time and I hope you er..your kids get lots of candy!!!
