Investor's Business Daily posted an interesting editorial yesterday about Obama's tax policy plans. I Have tried to express the same ideas but I think they have much better insight than I do. I don't really understand why more people don't see that when you raise taxes on upper level wage earners (aka The "Rich") We all pay the price. But maybe what we need in this country is another Jimmy Carter to remind us what a "Misery Index" is all about. Keep the change Obama. http://ibdeditorials.com/IBDArticles.aspx?id=309998514066924

Yes and Obama's tax plans will remove any incentive to save and punish anyone who tries to use saving to build financial security by increasing taxes on dividends and interest and by raising taxes on businesses making it less likely they will be able to pay dividends. He says he is helping the middle class but actually it is the same old Democratic Party strategy of keeping their voter base from getting too far ahead because then they would lose voters who wanted to protect the fruits of their hard work and to use saving to increase their income and security.

I can understand why Democrat Leaders would want to impose taxes from cradle to grave, Since those that succeed financially and become more educated typically become more conservative. But what I don't understand is why the Proles always vote for the guy that promises to raise taxes. Must some good Kool Aid.

I agree that the current tack that the future Obama administration is taking will be bad for the economy. Another instance of the third estate not doing their job of vetting the candidate and now we will all pay. With the fairness doctrine coming down the pike...Who will watch the watchers?

"Another instance of the third estate not doing their job of vetting the candidate and now we will all pay." You should check out my other discussion on media bias at the WaPo. Written By their own Ombudsman!
