Hi folks, recently I have done engagement of my eldest son with my niece. She is really very intelligent, educated and sensible.I like her from her childhood.I never believed in my parents when they used to say that daughters-in-law are more dear to even own children. Now I feel they were right as I love her more than my own children.Mind you marriage is very important institution in a Muslim society. What are your views about this intimate relationship ? Please explain with your own experiences.

Brother, Thanks for responding and sharing your nice views. It is good you have the same feelings/sentiments in your family as we have in our family.Daughters-in-law must be respected and loved like own children.Your parents will have the same feelings about your wife,Insha Allah.

Hello! Sorry,I have no son so liking or disliking daughter in law does not arise. However I love my sons in law as my own sons and they also love me very much.If you love some one he/she must love equally. It is reciprocal.thanx.

Thanks for your nice reply.I have also two sons-in-law but they are not so dear to me like this would-be daughter-in-law.She also has lot of regard for me and my family. You are right it is reciprocal............

Thanks for responding and sharing your sentiments.I think every one has his level of affiliations for some one. This is my personal experience of first daughter-in-law.No doubt this affection is due to my son........Let's hope for the best !!
