Ok so I was at the thrift shop today looking for more home magazines (always december/november issues XD lorl) so yeah... I grabbed the only one I wanted, and started looking around and I found something I wanted for a while... a Cookie Press :D It looks pretty old, but its in great shape, clean looking, simple to use, doesnt seem to be missing ANY parts :D and I cant wait to use it for real (I've pressed the handle to make "imaginary" cookies many times now XD lorl too simple I love it :D I cant wait to try it for real XD lol Anyone got really good recipes or advice for the girl with the cookie press?

You're gonna love it. You'll have every kind of cookie there is for a while! LOL Start off with simple recipes like sugar cookies or peanut butter ones before you jump ino the big stuff so you don't get frusrated with it! Have fun and happy cookie making!

lol so you CAN make sugar cookies and such with them XD the set came with a recipe book (like I said, Complete :D) and they had recipes with really strange ingrediants that sounded like metals often, but yeah I think I will love it, but I'm not sure if mom will let me use it for a while...first I would have to get the kitchen clean and ask her in a good mood, and I cant wash dishes right now because, my cat just made a nasty cut in the crook of my hand between the thumb and index finger...so right now the press is sitting on my bed whispering "Use me" lol *can almost taste those sugar and peanut butter cookies* lorl and there will be so many more cookies XD because I usually make them huge by hand, but there will be more of them only smaller with the press

ive always wanted one of those things! i remember seeing an infomercial for one a long time ago and they made it looks so easy to make all those fancy shapes! ive never been one to try to make anything other than sugar cookies though. dont have a stand mixer thingy so i have to mix it up by hand and i just dont have the wrist strength to do that for very long! how many different little press pattern thingy's did you get with it?

Too funny. I just bought one a few weeks ago at a yard sale. I have not used mine yet either. I am going to break mine out closer to Christmas I think. Good luck getting started.
