What do you think of china's products when the issue on lead contents and melemine came out? Honestly, I think, it's becuase of lack of quality control. I am always doubtful when i buy stuff nowadays.

yes. i am upset and angry cos there is inside info stating that they cover up the issue because of olympics 2008. the issue was first raised late last year but everyone including local authorities treat it lightly and also not to carry out indepth investigation as it will raise an alarm and concern for olympics. China is a country where corruption is still rife and the rich and powerful can buy their way out of trouble so i wont be surprise that there are $ involve in this matter.

yes, it is the lack of control. i dont think it is completely China's fault. China manufactures the products and substitutes lead into the product in order to make it more affordable and cheaper. United States on the other hand, buys these products and fails to thoroughly test the products. US also fails to monitor the manufacturers in China. United States purchases a large quantity of products from China. the US people are so use to the cheaper prices that if US threatens to stop purchases from China unless they fix the problem, the economy would perhaps fall further. basically, its kinda like take it or leave it
