Do you find yourself being more disciplined when travelling in another country?

When you travel to a foreign place, do you find yourself being more conscious about following rules and regulstions so that you won't get into trouble? I usually travel with a tour group and I noticed most of us would be really more careful in terms of obeying traffic rules (like walking on the pedestrian lanes) when we are abroad. Any thoughts?

I am a Singaporean. As a Singaporean, we are trained to be a displine citizen. We dont throw things like sweet wrappers or used tissue paper as we please. Due to this, I tends to be used to it and stay displine in other people countries. If I would like my country to be beautiful and hate when tourist or foreinger litter or disobey the rules in my country, I wouldnt want to do the same things at the place that I am a tourist. Its civic minded that instilled in us, that prevent us to be a holligans at other people place.
