What is the language that you really want to learn and give in all your heart to learn but still could not grasp the language fully? Why is the language seems hard for you? As for me, I have learned French and is currently learning Japanese. I do think that Japanese is harder than French. The reason for this might be due to the different characters which I need to memorize. Furthermore, Japanese have lots of sets of characters. As for now, I think Kanji set of characters are the hardest.

I would answer Arabic is the hardest if this question is asked few years ago, because all the characters and the grammar rules. I have to change the prefix and suffix of the words so that it can indicate the verb is for one person, two people, or more. But now my answer would be Sundanese as there are no lesson available in school, no books or newspapers. I only learn this language from people. What makes it even harder to learn is because there are 'levels' in this language. For example, if you're talking with your mate, you can use the lower 'level' words. But if you are talking with people older than you or with your lecturer, different words should be used. This is important to show our respect to the person we're talking to.
