Should conversions be banned ?

There are so many Hindus seem to be bothered about people getting converted to other religions.Also there is voice asking a ban on conversion. Should the conversions be banned ?

Personally I dont think that conversions be banned. I mean it is in the individuals choice on what 'religion' he'd want to be. For me, religion is sort of something of a label though it is a part of a culture of a society but the bottomline would be the person converted or not still believes in a higher power and that is the most important. The Being might have different names or there might even be more than one. To me, it doesnt matter what you call Him/Them or how one shows their devotion and belief, the most important thing is that they BELIEVE.

Some fanatics in India wants to bann the conversion. Conversion afterall is a matter related to faith. But attacking those who got converted is a criminal activity.Now there another voice gaining health is, since the criminal activities are causing problems to people, such fanatic groups which are involved in such activities are to be banned instead of banning conversion. I appreciate your comment.

Oh wow, yeah, I can imagine that. Though, somewhere along the lines of belief, acknowledging that others are also human beings regardless of their faith kinda gets lost in people's minds. I do hope they resolve that issue. Take care always.
