Has anyone found that prices of food items have gone down these days. The newspapers are saying that due to the reduction of prices of oil and the recession, the cost of food items are going down, but I haven't come across it so far. Has any Mylotians come across any reductions in their neighorhood?

Not at all.The price of foods never goes down in my country and it is still the same after the oil price increase. Now after government decrease the price of oil the price of foods still the same.I think the supplier of food don't want to decrease the food price because they want to profit more.I think the inflation rate is quite high right now.

I know - its the same thing that I experienced but the newspapers says that due to reduction in prices have made the price of things like rice and flour cheaper but I haven't seen that in the supermarkets so far.

I don't know may be it is just speculation.I think the price of foods really hard to goes down because many many sellers don't want to lose their profit and want their profit margin more so they don't want to decrease the food price. In my country,if the foods price has increase it will never goes down. They just make the increasing oil price as a reason for increase their price and when the oil price goes down they will silent and not just selling at the same price.
