any tips on how to raise turtles as pets?

i want to have turtles as pets. any tips on how to raise and feed them properly? how about the environment needed? what are the best turtles to take as pets? thanks!

Well i think the most important think is to make sure the water that the turtles have always been clean. Try change the water when it get dirty. If you let they live in a dirty water, it wont be long before they become sick. And dirty water could also make you turtle blind.
