My hubby woke up on time, and started breakfast. Yes I know wonderful guy. But then we both look up and it is 8am. My daughter leaves for the bus at 8:15 am. He hadn't even showered yet. He told her he would take her today. She, of course was thrilled. Question is if you always insisted on showering before you walk out the door, (which he does, and did this time) would you or your S/O make it? He made it, barely

At least he has great hygiene alot of men would have took her to the bus stop then showered. But he wants to look clean and nice in case something ever happens probably. Glad he made it and didn't have to break a promise.

My boyfriend always insists on showering before he leaves the house and there have been times when we barely made it places, but he always gets things done. He makes sure he has enough time to eat, exercise and get a shower then iron his clothes before he goes somewhere especially in the morning. It can be annoying sometimes.

I would not have had time to shower and get out the door in 15 minutes. I have had to take my son to school without showering first, but I don't get out of the car and I can just take a shower when I get back home.

Showering can be done quickly, I don't see a problem if you are pressed for time. Perhaps it would have been better for your husband to run a comb through his hair and come back afterward, but so long as it worked out I guess we can trust his judgment at little bit.

For me, take a shower before walking out the door isn't a necessary thing. At times, if I have time and I need to take a shower, then I might. But if I don't have time, then I just do it when I come back or when I have more time. I do it this way, because I want to enjoy my shower. I don't want to feel like I have to rush my shower.

My hubby loves long showers and can't function properly without his daily morning shower. But he would be in and out and dressed in five minutes, if need be. So, yes, just like yours, he would make it barely. Then again, my kids would keep their fingers crossed that he wouldn't make it. They love the few occasions when we drive them to school, they would love that more than being walked to the bus stop by their dad, lol.

I always shower first thing after I wake up in the morning. I make sure to set my alarm so it gives me enough time to get my shower, do my hair and makeup and be ready in time. On weekends there may be a day when my son needs a ride to football early in the morning. I will then jump out of bed, throw on a baseball cap and drive him to school~ not getting out of my car.

I would love to have showered before I do walk out the door, but if it's an emergency or something that needs to be rushed, then I'd rather just wear fresh clothes and be on my way. I have tried that several times now. Whenever there's an emergency rush, I always just change and go. Maybe this is the main reason why I always make sure I'm clean before sleeping, so that when I do wake up and have to rush, then I'm not messy (if you know what I mean).
