i've been married for only six months and i remember my wedding day very well. what i loved most about it is --aside from my husband, of course -- that i could see on every guest's face that they were happy to be there. we had a total of 175 guests, each one carefully chosen by both me and my husband. it was as if, during the reception, that everyone was happy for us and ready to have a good time. what about you, what did you love most about your wedding?

Congrats! I have been married for 1 year! I think my favorite memories are also from the reception. I had so much fun during the dance. I was dancing, watching others dance and have a blast, everyone was laughing so much. It was great!

hi, stylioJ! Thanks. and congratulations to you too. :-) i guess one of the greatest wedding gifts for a couple is that when people in their reception are having fun. it just shows that those present are happy for you. take care and have a nice day!

hubby and i have been married for 21 years, so my wedding memories are not as clear as yours probably are, but i do remember getting to see all my family members that you dont get to see all that often plus, it was one of the last times that my grandma came out (she lived to 104 and has since passed on.)

I enjoyed the whole thing, except the new shoes I wore that hurt my feet really bad the whole time. All my family members around us, people we didn't get to see very ofter. My favorite uncle gave me away, and lots of friends and people from my church pitched in and made my wedding a very special event. My husband's neice did a superb job with the photos and I have a lasting memory of how great everything was.

my problem with my shoes then was that they was too big for me. i only realized it when i was already in church, waiting for my cue to walk down the aisle. LOL! thanks for responding clrumfelt! have a nice day!

I think out of the whole thing I would have to say that the thing I loved the most was my dress. It was exactly what I wanted and I had picked it up at a bargain price. It was just like a princesses dress, with pearls and sparkly things on it and a really long train, I loved it that much that I wore it for the whole day and did not take it off until I went to bed!

i loved my wedding gown too. i borrowed it from a very dear friend. she had this really grand wedding and her wedding dress was made by a very popular designer. needless to say, it was expensive. and very heavy LOL! a few days before her wedding, she suddenly decided to get a second gown for the reception. it was beautiful as well but compared to the first one, it was very very simple. then, because of the confusion and turn of events during her wedding day, she was only able to wear the grand one for a short time and the simple one for hours--it was also what she was wearing in all her portraits! thus, the grand and expensive gown had less "exposure", so to speak. LOL! so when she heard that i was getting married, she "voluntered" her gown so that she would at least feel that what she paid for it was worth it. luckily, i liked it very much because of its elegance. i was happy wearing it.
