The Dreaded Dentist!

I really don't mind going to the dentist. I actually like talking to him and when he tells me that I am not doing something right, i go home and try to do it right to help keep my teeth strong and healthy. My dentist has my teeth's best interest so when he tells me I need to do something better I do it.

I didn't make my first trip to the dentist until I was 38 years old...about three years ago. I had always heard horror stories about the dentist and so I never went. But a few years ago, I began getting really concerned about the black that was forming around my front bottom teeth, which was only tartar, but I thought it was something worse. My first visit went a lot better than I'd feared. In fact, I enjoy going to the dentist. The hygenist and dentist both were amazed at how healthy my teeth and gums were for a 38 year old, having never been to the dentist. Now my teeth and gums are even healthier than they were and I still have all 32 of my teeth.

I rather enjoy the dentist. Odd as it seems, as a sahm, any chance I get to get away for a minute is well worth it. But really, I love the gas they give me. It is lovely!!! I asked them if I could get a prescription for that but they said it would cost a small fortune. So I guess I'll have to keep going to the dentist to get it!!! :-)

i really hate the dentist i must admit. mainly because of bad experience when i was younger. i prefer a dentist who doesn't warm me what he is about to do and then i can't get stressed. i always have to take someone with me whenever i go and i seem to have to have loads of anaesthetic too!!!
