I remember when i was six or seven. My mother made me a little red riding costume. At school we had costume day so everyone wore their costumes. I was at recess beig cut little red riding hood when I hear a growl behind me. I turned and who do you think i saw?? The wolf of course. It was one of my favorite friends and he chased me around all day saying he was gonne get little red riding hood. It was such fun and I enjoyed myself the whole day. Tell me your most memorable (good or bad) story of Halloween pasts.

Unfortunately when I was a child there was no celebration of Halloween since I live in the Europe and this day is celebrated mainly in other countries. But as I getting older I can see this is changing slowly. There is lot of Halloween decoration in stores and houses which is great cuz I think this feast day is really great. I am just a bit sad I was not able to feel the atmosphere when I was younger.

You spoke my name? Hey I am the wolf and I eat little miss riding hoods for breakfast, lunch and dinner, so come here my pretty and ask me what teeth I have, all the better to bite you with! The only time I dressed up for halloween, I never went trick or treating, not that I couldn't I was just not intersted to be honest, we don't celebrate as much in the UK. But we had to dress up for the party that the cubs were having, of course Wolfie was a cub ;0) and I dressed up as a ghost, using one of mums old white sheets which she cut holes into, it was only basic but I got away with it, so many ghosts that turned up, everyone had the same idea LOL! It was funny but I didn't win a prize for my outfit hardly original!

Halloween of 2003. My dad had been in some kind of medical facility since the last part of March (hospital...continuing care...nursing home), and he would be coming home from the nursing home for a trial visit the weekend that Halloween fell on. He watched some friends and me decorate the place for Halloween, and he got to take part in greeting the little goblins who came around. His first night sleeping in the hospital bed we'd set up at home was wonderful. He thought that we were through with the nursing home and that he was home for good, but we told him not yet. He came to visit over Thanksgiving and had a long stay in December. Our plans were to bring him home for good when the weather got better, but that wasn't to be. He passed away in his sleep the morning of February 2, 2004. But we were able to have him staying in his own home for various nights, starting with Halloween.

Every hallowe'en is memorable for me. Every year I go to a friend's place, and we hand out candy to the local children, and he "scares" them by making scary voices into a microphone that's attached to a speaker outside, hidden behind a mask that lights up. After we have a bit too much to drink, and play pool, or chess.
