Do you think this election will set a new standard?

This election has cost a fortune. All the tv ads, infomericals on multiple channels during prime time, and staturation the air waves. Obama threw around more money than any other presential candidate in history. Do you think this will set a new standard. Will all future elections now have to be this big of a show and be so expensive? Will 1/2 hour infomericals now become the new standard? What do you think? And is it a good thing?

Hi L'l wonders, I don't think its good to throw all money on campaigning. Today people became more wise and will be casting vote for the best. I think one should get voted irrespective of caste, creed, the political party to which he belongs, etc. What should be considered is, what he will do, what he did...
