Nope never been there, if I did visit ireland I would visit south Ireland where my family is from. But eh , I might go check out the north for the hell of it.

A fellow Brit? Surely not ha ha! I almost went to Belfast once, as my other half comes from Stranraer. We never made it across on the ferry though as it was raining and we fancied a pizza instead ha ha! I'd love to go though, my family has told me it's lovely. I now live in Germany, originally from UK, would you ever want to go to Germany, or have you ever been there?

Good to meet you. I was bored there. Yes my husband lived in Germany his dad was in the army out there and he always talks about going back. Stranraer is just across from larne on the larne ferry. Yes it is beautiful, well the antrim coast is anyway. Thank you for replying. Take care in Germany.

Well. London is an hour away by plane. You should come and visit, sometime though. It is worth it. The antrim coast is beautiful and the people here are very nice.

I would love to visit your beautiful country. My husband's family ancestry is Irish (Not sure if it's N. Ireland or not) and we would love to take a trip across the pond to N.Ireland someday. Maybe when he retires and the kids are on their own.

I hope you get many more responses. Take heart, sometimes the discussions just take on a life of their own. You never know which ones will really get people interested. It's kind of like gambling. Keep trying for that jack pot!
