how many would pick up a stranger ?

if you saw a stranger hitch hiking would you pick them up ? i wouldn't pick no one up these days even if it's a female.

I wouldn't. I live in a small town and even here about 10 or 15 years ago an old lady picked up a hitch hiker and ended up getting chopped up into little pieces! It's just too big a risk. My fiance gave a stranger a ride the other night from the bar to 7-11 and even that made me a little nervous. It turned out fine, the guy was just drunk and didn't want to drive. He even tried to pay him $40 (the fiance politely declined the $).

Not me either Jesssp....it's far too dicey these days to pick up anyone you don't know and sometimes crazy to pick up those you don't! I live in a small town too and am leary of those who are out and about trying to get a ride. I wouldn't pick anyone up but I WOULD offer to call the police if someone needed aid. I figure that can't hurt and if they are up to no good, the police need to know anyway!

nope.i'll call 911 for them if they need it,but it's just too dangerous to do that.at the very least they might steal your car.

Nope, nada, I ain't that stupid. I have talked to some before but I have no desire to be the next road kill. Nice subject! Although, I feel bad for a while. I know what that feels like to be left out in the cold. I am harmless but that doesn't mean everyone else is!

Nope I would not pick up a stranger. I think that there are too many people out there that are psycopaths and I would not take that chance. I am a weaker woman so it is even worse because I can not defend myself as well as a guy might be able to. I would not even if it was a woman. You do not know if they are carrying a wepon with them.
