to babysit or not to babysit?

to babysit or not to babysit? that is the question. since i am currently doing freelance writing, i plan to do other gigs, and i thought of babysitting, but i don't know if i'll be a good one. all i know is that i am a good communicator, even to babies. is the enough?

Communication is not enough! You should have a lot of experience with children before you babysit. CPR and first aid training are also a good idea. Most parents will require references before leaving their children with a new sitter, so you should also have these. If you don't have experience with children or infants, you might want to consider another line of work.
