Who do you think provides better goal cover for Man Utd? Tomasz Kuszczak or Ben Foster? Or are they not good enough and Man Utd need to bring in a new one? Van Der Sar turned 38 today, and is still a very good goalkeeper. The good thing about Van Der Sar is that he is not only a good stopper of the ball, he also has footballing skills. He can distribute it well, and control it well to get himself away from strikers and into good space so that he can make a decent pass to a defender. He also deals with aerial balls confidently, which is something that Kuszczak is lacking. But at 38, we might see a decline in his performance levels after this. Ben Foster played very well on loan before and even earned an England call-up, he definitely has potential. How do you think the future will be like for Man Utd in the goalkeeping department?

Ben Foster is not the future goalkeeper of Man Utd but also future goalkeeper of England. He has the good potential and all he need is just be patient waiting for his time to come. His natural potential plus tutoring from Edwin Van Der Sar will only makes him better and better. Tomas Kuszcak may be seen to play regularly as Van Der Sar replacement this season, but MU fans (if not all, me for sure) still feeling insecure to see him guarding the goal especially when been attacking by opponent. Other than that, several youngsters still in the contention to be MU no 1 in the future like Thomas Heaton and Ben Amos.
