How many plants do you keep in your home? What kind are they?

I have more than 10 plants in my house currently. I find that the Spider Plant is very hardy. I have neglected it sometimes for weeks and it still blooms and grows even when the soil is almost dust.
I also find that the plant know as Mother-in-Laws tongue or Snake Plant is equally as hardy. The both have beautiful foliage that stays a deep green year round.
I find that plants make a house more home and inviting. They also of course help clean the air for people and pets.
What kind of plants do you like to keep in your home?

What about a cactus? Didn't you say you live in the desert. You could have a few of those in the house??

i don't keep any house plants in my house. i dion't have a green thunb. i think they are pretty & i admire them but i really don't care anything about fooling w/them.

That's too bad. You really don't need to have a green thumb to have a spider plant in your home though. Just remember to water it every couple of weeks. But if you forget they forgive you and keep living anyway. LOL I know I have forgotten mine for weeks at a time.

Hi SketcherD, from the attached image I could see the spider plant hanging on the ceiling looks robust and attractive. Yeah, to keep green plants in our house could help to purify and refresh the air of the house, so people as well as the pets living in it are healthy.
There are only two indoor plants in my house. All of them are kept in flower pots placed in the sitting room. These greenish leafy rhaopis palms grow easily by themselves. I water them only when I find the surfaces of the soil in the flower pots look dry. Keeping indoor plants in our house would add beauty to the environment.

we have several kinds of plants at home. orchids surrounds our house with different colors. i love to see them each day i wake up. the plants are so colorful and so they are very nice to look at.
