teen tanning is dangerious

Hi annjilena! i have heard that teen tanning is a very bad idea. They say that most of the cancer causing skin damage is done before the age of twenty regularly and tanning beds up this tremendously. I think the difference is 20 mins in the tanning bed = a full day in the sun. I guess it's more concentrated.

Tanning salons and long term exposure to the sun can kill your skin. My mother, who did not spend nearly the amount of time that most people spend in the sun, developed skin cancer on her nose. Yes, she developed skin cancer on her nose! If you think that you cannot get skin cancer, you think that you will be okay, you have no idea.

Indoor tanning is very bad for any one as they can get burnt awful bad in just 10 min. the put doors and tanning from the sun is alot better you can gauge how long to lay out

I think that both can be dangerous. Since I do live in a hot country you will get tanned without staying sunbathing in the sun near the beach. So it is advisable to stay indoors during the hot hours of the day, wearing hats and applying sun creams. © ronaldinu 2008
