Ever make a purchase you regret?

Being the frugal cheap person I'm I once bought dollar store batteries that leaked all over and ruined a mp3 player of mine. Another was a $600 mountain bike that I rode a few times.

this kind of things happened to most people. For me too. I purchased computer table (Rs.2000), Its rotating wheels for movement is nonfunctional. No guarantee card. One has to have a checklist of anticipated defects and then buy.

I bought a $2000 treadmill, used it for 2 weeks. I bought a metal detector that specialized in finding gold - spent $600 for it...never found gold. I think by now there's a sucker sign on my forehead.

I bought a Filter Queen Vacuum cleaner which I regret to this day. I spoke to someone at Filter Queen and told him why I didn't like it (which was not long after I bought it) and all he did was joke about it. I could cry everytime I use it, which isn't too often because I use the central vacuum which I love. The sales rep. that came to our place really was a good salesman. He made everything sound so good and told us the vacuum could do things, which I found out after the fact was not true. I feel really embarrassed for letting him con us into buying that thing. I've never hated anything so much. Does anyone elso have a Filter Queen and do you like it? Let me know. My user name is Darline126.
