We do a lot of recycling, as I mentioned in another thread here. We now have more recycling than trash each week. We try to buy earth friendly consumer goods and do a lot of conserving of gas and energy. We consolidate a lot of our trips to save gas, do not travel as much and keep the heat down. We plan to replace our kitchen floor next spring, and are considering bamboo, which is a renewable resource. This weekend we are putting on a new roof, and part of the materials are from recycled products. Plus they are insulated better, so we will save energy on heating and cooling the house. It is a slow process, but we are getting there.

My farm - I use natural methods to make the farm fertile. There are no herbicides to kill weeds and make life difficult for earthworms.
Today's farming methods as practiced by big corporations kill the environment. I have a farm where plants live, even the weeds are very healthy. I do not use commercial fertilizers, I have stopped my brother from using herbicides. I culture microorganisms which make the soil fertile. Cheers!!
