Hello Smokers, what made you start smoking? What are your reasons for smoking?

I started smoking when in college as it seem to be cool then. It started as a style but made me addict.
It took me all my will power to quit smoking. Finally I managed to give up smoking after 9 years.
What about you. When did you start smoking? Are you still smoking? If so what is your reason for smoking?

I don't even remember what got me started but I would think it is any of the common reasons why young people take up smoking. It is a nasty habit and difficult to kick. I got out of it and so did you. Cheers!!

Hello,Mr.Raj! I don't remember exactly how I started smoking about fifty years back.It might be due to some friends who were smoking and instigated me to smoke.However I became addicted to smoking right from the college and continuing yet despite several attempts to quit it.I don't think I am benefited by it rather I have lost lots of money in it.thanx.
