The following author shows the parallels of the "new" deal Barack Obama offers and the old new deal of FDR. As in the days of FDR, Obama's plan would do exactly what FDR's did to the economy; make it stagnate! Here for your reading pleasure:

0bama is determined to destroy our economy with his social engineering and his redistribution of wealth. If he gets his way it will take just as long for conservatives to clean up after him as it did for them to clean up after FDR.
Socialism does not work.... what it does is stifle growth and increase stagnation while simultaneously creating a government dependent mindset.
This country was built on the concept of independence and the rejection on government interference in people's lives.
0bama represents just the opposite.
