3-Year-Old Boy Allegedly Involved in Attack on Police Officer

A woman and her 3-year-old son allegedly assaulted a Tennessee policeman at a gas station on Wednesday, MyEyewitnessNews.com reported. Police say the Memphis officer stopped a white Cadillac with two adults and a child inside for speeding.
When he asked the driver, Terrence Braden, to step out of the car, Braden allegedly wrestled him to the ground, MyEyewitnessNews.com reported. The woman reportedly grabbed a gun and some drugs out of the car and ran away with her son, only to return a short time later and assault the officer, according to the Web site.
The toddler also joined in on the attack, allegedly kicking the officer several times. The mother of the boy, who was not identified, was arrested at the scene, MyEyewitnessNews.com reported. Charges against her are pending. The driver is wanted on multiple charges, including assault against a police officer and possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell. He remains on the loose.
The child was released into the custody of relatives. The officer, whose uniform was ripped and police radio taken off his belt, suffered only minor bruises and scrapes, according to the Web site.

Mine are aside from crappy parenting the child was just doing what his mother was doing. I don't think that he had a clue as to what he was REALLY doing!

Well, he saw his mom doing it so why wouldn't he. I think she should face some child neglect charges as well for not setting a better example for her kid. I'm glad they caught her and hope they catch him as well.

At three years old a child surely does not have a clue what it is doing. They just follow an adult or older persons lead and do what they do. What a shame the poor little thing, what sort of a life is he going to have.

Children always protect parents. In this case, boy was probably protecting his mother without understanding what was going on.
Kids don't understand authorities. They just do what parents are doing.

As parents were suppose to lead our kids down the right path and teach them that fighting is not good. and that they are to respect their elders and especially law enforcement and teachers ect...
These people are really a poor excuse for parents.
this kid at the age of 3 doesn't know any better. he is just doing what he see's mommy and daddy do.
can you imagine what he will be like when he gets older if these are the people who are raising him?
he's not gonna have respect for anyone at all.
these types of parents are the reason we have kids turning to robbing people and to gangs and all the junk they do. they need parents who guide them on the right path.
these people are absolutely crazy to have done this and especially to act that way in front of their child.

Sheez! Definitely crappy parenting.
Of course the child is only copying his mother. I'm sure he doesn't yet fully understand what an officer of the law is. He probably thinks they are bad since his mother doesn't like police. Poor kid. I hope his relatives are in better shape than the mother.
