How often do you send SMS messages?

I created this topic out of curiosity. I have read the other topic about how often you use your phone, where the call time was the basis for frequency of phone use. Let's talk about SMS usage here.I just want to compare how people from around the world use the messaging functions of the phone. For the two weeks that I have been using my phone, the message counter reads:
Sent text msgs: 261
Sent picture msgs: 0
Do you people use messaging more than voice calls? In my case, it turns out that way.

i am fond of registering to unlimited texting all day and i send a maximim of 600 messages daily! i don't get tired texting my buddies and checking out with them. I love to send a group message.

I used to send quite a number of SMS messages daily when I was still working. But since I left office about four years ago, my need for sending messages have dwindled. These days, I usually send no more than 50 messages a month which is way below what I have in terms of free SMSes in my cellphone contract. Of course I communicate with people through other means such as emails and internet chat, so my need for SMSes is not really that great anymore.

I send SMS less although i my SMS service is free,i can get 150 fress message.Now i usually call if i want to say something with my friends or others,i don't send message,i think call is good way to communication,in my country the student like sending,because they don't have much money,they can send message and the expense is low,i always did when i was a student.Sometimes i send several MMS,it is good.

When i first got a cell phone i used to message a lot non stop.But now an tired of doing so.I message sometimes when i am free.

yes i text canstantly all day but only talk maybe once a week on it lol.i can text faster and for some reason can talk bout things better by texting than talking

I text every single day! My country is big on texting because we are "third world" but I still think that telecom companies earn a lot with the text messaging rates. My phone doesn't have an sms counter. I wish it did though but I think I send an average of 10 texts a day. It can go up to 100 texts a day though if I have a party or an event...

Haven't sent one lately.Its too expensive for me because of the international rates.However when I was still in the Philippines, texting is the way of life.Its nt about the talking which make most of the people there get connected. A mere text would be fun to stay in tune with one another.Well, for me wasn't in to it lately but use to sent text all the time.Maybe it some how diminish because I got tired of it.Use to send hundreds a day,now less than 50 would do,sometimes even less.

Actually I send more than 300 SMS per month.And sometimes more.LOL.I'd like to send messages rather than voice calls,as I think voice calls can create more radiation.I don't know whether it is true or not.But imagine the phone pastes on your brain when making voice calls,oooh,it's terrible.This will interrupt our normal brain waves and may cause disease such as disorder of nerve system and so on.But SMS is better.LOLs

i sms about 5 times a week. I don't see the need for it but it can be useful at times. sending pictures is a waste but text messaging can be quick and efficient when you can't talk on the phone. for example, if you are in class or at a meeting.

I send less than 500 message per month , hahas (:
sometimes , I dun even send a message in a day ...
but sometimes when someone ask me for a chat , I tink I wil send up to 100 messages in a day ?
i tink people in relationship will send lots of message per day ?
I use messaging more than calls , though ..
unless my messages are going beyond 500 (:

Since October 8th I've used 1018 messages (probably divided evenly between sent and received).. Almost all of them to my girlfriend :) The only person I talk to on the phone is my boss at work, and even then we text each other more than we talk on the phone.

I often use the sms messages.I will use the sending a sms messages.Every day i
will send a messages to my frnds minimum 40 to 70 messages i will send to frnds daily.Maximum i will send a sms messages,picture messages,ringtone.What about you?

i only send messages to my hubby when he's not yet home. maybe the average text messages im sending is about 10 messages in a day.
i used to send text messages before but now i usually call the person i need to tell something. but in case that person doesnt answer the phone, i send him/her text messages.

For me, seldom I send SMS messages. If I need to communicate to someone, I will use my cellphone to make the call. I think that's much better to speak to the person over the phone rather sending the SMS messages.

Sms is a very good way to infrom something to our friends ,in another word we can say ,it is just like a simple e-mail,in my case i use sms more than voice calls.
