i'm using an asus eee pc. i'm happy with it being less than 1 kilo so i can lug it around everywhere i go. it's also fast enough for me and i'm satisfied with it because i only use it for basic stuff like word documents, presentations, and going online.

another advantage is that because it's small, you can put it in any regular bag rather than a laptop bag. that way, it's not obvious that you have a laptop with you, which is a plus if you happen to pass by places with a high theft rate. hehe. i've been told that the asus eee pc is selling for as low as P11k now.

I now use HP V3907. It is a good computer, but after several hours use, the computer seems a little hot. It is a problem. i think now the computer is quie cheap, much cheaper than two years ago. But the the price goes down easily. When I bought mine, it is 6300 yuan, but now, only after one month, it is 5600 at all.

I have no idea about that. But when I bought my present one, I just think HP is a famous brand, so I can use it with a safety feeling. And my computer is cheaper compared with other brands. Now I feel uncomfortable how can its price goes down so fast.

I'm using a Toshiba Satellite now. It's one of the newer models but it's turning a year old this December. I'm actually very happy with its performance. It's supposed to be a lightweight model good for traveling, but I haven't done much traveling yet. I had a problem with one of the drivers when I first got this but now it's running smoothly.

I bought a laptop on Oct 2nd and it is Now nov 2nd and I am onto my 4th latop! Do you believe it? The first one was a HPPavillion 6, a display model, we got it for a good price, but when we got it home we discovered scratches and one of the keys was dented, so we returned it to the store and for extra cost got a HPPavillion 5 non-display. We get that one home and after numerous calls to HP support I was told I could return it again as the quick launch buttons did not work. OK now here comes laptop No3 another HPPavillion 5. This one is fine but refuses to play DVDs properly so after lots of phone calls to HP support ..yep! You guessed I got myself a full refund. Now I am using a Toshiba Sattellite and you know what? So far so good!

Hi there paula, I understand what you mean. I'm using hp pavillion dv9000, it's going to be 2 years old very soon, and also had problems with it. Just after manufacturers warranty expired there was an issue with wireless adapter, however I was lucky, they fixed it for free because this particular model was faulty one. In addition to that casing split, but they also took care of that free of charge, as they were dealing with the first issue. So I could say I'm happy with the outcome and little disappointed that such known brand name produced a lemon like this.

I'm currently using HP TX2004AU Tablet PC. It is like four-month old. It's great especially the touch screen monitor, but I don't like the weight which is almost 2 kgs. I hope it is lighter. I have owned my brands of laptop, but I think that HP is the best in terms of quality and after-sell service.
