here in the Philippines, there are kids that goes to your car whenever you're stack to traffic. i have seen children turned to beggar which is tolerated by their irresponsible parents. the parents are usually busy gambling and they dont care whether their children has eaten their meal. why on earth does this parents allow their kids to be in the street? dont they think that an accident can happen while their kids are on their own just to feed themselves? wish this parents will realize now the importance of their kids.

Hello Despompa, I am also from Philippines, and I can witnessed the truth of what you are saying. But then I don't think we can blame this solely to parents. I think other reasons why it is happening are poverty and our government system. Here, we have less job opportunities, and that many people are jobless. We all know that food is one of the basic need in order to survive, each of us needs to work in order to be able to eat, each of us needs to make money in order to meet our basic needs. If you are also aware there are lots of people that depend their living on dumping sites. Some parents have to do that in order to survive, while other children to that in order to help their parents. So it is not because they want to take advantage and live in an easy way. Lie beyond is the great love of children to his parents and of the parents love to his/her children. Not all parents want those things to happen but they have no choice. But I know it is true to some parents.

hi there honeylore. i dont want to blame it to the government though we know very well that our government is struggling due the unstable economy that we have. first and foremost, it's the parent's sole responsibility to assess whether or not they are capable of raising a child. second is, they should've look for a job that will suit them. though the common ending is as a house help or caretaker but still the job is decent and it's something that your kids can be proud of.

hi there honeylore. i dont want to blame it to the government though we know very well that our government is struggling due the unstable economy that we have. first and foremost, it's the parent's sole responsibility to assess whether or not they are capable of raising a child. second is, they should've look for a job that will suit them. though the common ending is as a house help or caretaker but still the job is decent and it's something that your kids can be proud of. sorry again, if would disagree, oh it is true that it is the responsibility of the parents to raise their children in good way, but it is also the governments responsibility to assist the people that lives in a country; Should implement strategies that would improve the people's lives. It is easy for us to say to tell them to go find a work, but then how would they do it where in fact there is no enough job opportunities here and that there are millions of people who come abroad in order to meet the demands of their family. Lots of people are trying to find a good job, but there is not enough business the will employ each individual. as of today, in order to get a job there are requirements, you need to be a high school graduate, you need this and that... how about those uneducated parents. Maybe they can get jobs which suits them, like working as a janitor or a nanny, but do you think they can all get jobs like that, when the truth most of the people that lives in our country are poor and that getting a nanny or a janitor would be an extra expense?
