help me i m thinking of getting new pc but totally confused between desktop and laptop ????????

My vote is for Desktop it very embrassing to carry a thing which is 4-8 kgs of weight along with us every time and it is my personal experience

It depends on your needs. Do you need to travel a lot? If you need mobility buy a laptop. If not buy a desktop it is more powerful than a laptop. © ronaldinu 2008

I love everything about computers. If I were asked, I'll go with both. But for your convenience, I suggest to buy a laptop first. As you know, desktop computers are very bulky and heavy. Laptop is much more lighter and travel-friendly.

It depend with the condition I have. If I work outside then I need a laptop. It's more mobile and easy to carry. But with my recent condition, I work at home so I choose a desktop pc. and wtih the same budget I can buy more powerful spec for my deskctop than laptop.

It depends on the need you have. If you are using it for home purpose deskpop will be better. If you are regular mover laptop will be better. generally I prefer desktop rather laptop because for lower cost we will get higher configuration.

Hi friend
It would be good if you go for a laptop.As it is not very complicated to use the
laptop.And you can carry along with you ,where evre you go and you can even have
a wireless internet connection to it.Its very light weight and can be easily carried.
just be careful while working on it and just be cautious when carrying it out.

I would usually say desktop but if you would like to use it and be able to take it anywhere then I say laptop.

I like desktop more than laptop. Even though lap top is portable it not comfortable use. Charging laptops make a huge time. we cant use laptops for more than four to five hours without regular charge. Its very easy to switch on the desktop and we simply work on it. If we use the laptops regularly it gets heated and we scared to shut down our laptop. Its very hard to maintain laptop also but in the case of desktop its just like a tv only i.e very comfort also we don't bother about the manitainance.
