I've just finished the last book and I really got hooked on these books. I started reading them when I was working with kids that all read these books. So to keep up with them and to know what they were talking about, I also read the books. The first was nice, the second more nice, and eventually I got hooked and I was waiting for the next book to come. For the last book I wanted to take some time, so I waited until I wasn't so busy to read it. And it was a very surprising and good end. What do you think about Harry Potter?

I have read all the books of Harry Potter & got just glued to them while reading. Although I am a bit old (of course, only 27) but still I cannot wait to get my hands on those books when they come in the market. Hope Rowling writes more books on Harry Potter! I don't know whether magicians exist or not but Rowling is really a magician who has enchated me & many more to read her books with deepest interest.

I'm 31, so you're not the only one who reads these books that are meant for children! But I also hope she's eventually going to write more Harry Potter books! It's good to see more "older" people reading Harry Potter. I started reading them because the children at my work read them, but I think they're so good!

Hi meinkoos! I know that people older than me also like to read the Harry Potter. Actually its not the age that comes in between while reading good books, but a good reader likes reading good things written by good writers. And Rowling is one of that good writer, so I think that she should write good quality books like Harry Potter or something else & keep her readers glued to reading!!!

I love it. The whole Harry Potter hype kinda has been attached in my high school life and it actually brings us friends closer. As for the book themselves, I have never read any book that truly grips you and pulls you in that you wouldnt want to eat or sleep just so you could finish all of the story. Of course Dan Brown books are like that as well but Harry Potter just has that memories attached to it. It really does transport you to a world that would be privately yours and for the others who read it. I just cant believe that the Harry Potter legacy is about to end with the release of the final movies. I know that Harry Potter will go down in history but its still sad to see it end.

I agree with you, I think too it's really sad that it ended. But... have you read the last book? I thought the end was pretty good. It really kept me a few days from doing anything else but reading Harry Potter!

You should really read the books too. I think the books are much better then the movies. The way J.K. Rowling writes is so good, you really get hooked on reading the books. I think thats less with the movies. And... reading the book takes more time, so I really get into it. More than in the movie. I hope you read the books!!

For me it was also a bit dissapointing to see the characters in the movie. I've made an image of them myself and it didn't match the characters in the movie. But now I've read the books I'm going to watch the movies, just to re-live the books again. But you are right: It's best to read the books and don't watch the movies at all.

Yes they are! Are there big differences between the books in the different languages? I've only read them in Dutch. But they're so good! I have the movies, but I haven't seen them yet. But soon I'm going to. There's no new book coming anymore, so to stay into the Harry Potter I'm going to watch the movies.
