I just signed a contract for a new job and I don't understand why I suddenly feel like I don't want to work again. Maybe because I spent two months just staying home doing nothing and now I'm back to waking up from an alarm clock and waiting for your shift to end. On the other hand, its nice because you will now again be receiving a salary. Why can't life be more play than work???? Hehe!

congratulations! well, i also have not been working for 10 months now. i found out that i am pregnant after resigning from my job. so i decided not to look for a new job for the mean time. well, i still haven't thought of working after giving birth. i want to take care and focus on my baby. i think when the time comes that i feel like looking for a job already and gets one, i will feel the same as you do now because it is such a relaxing feeling to wake up anytime you want and have nothing much to think of.

You are so right! It will be so hard waking up early again just to go to work most especially now that I got so used to just staying at home and watching tv! hehe! I'm happy to hear you have a new baby. That sure is one great reason to not go to work and just spend time watching over your baby. God bless!

Congratulations to you. It can be hard to switch from one routine to another. It was difficult for me when I left the office environment, and started working from home. Hard to get motivated. Maybe you could take a little of your check when you get it and buy yourself something nice. Might make that horrible alarm not sound so bad!

Thank you for your advice! I will do that... I will save a portion of it and think of something gratifying to buy. That will serve as my motivation instead. I wish I can also work from home instead so I have the time in my hands plus it feels good if you are your own boss right? Maybe If i save enough I might try to start a small business or something =)

grats on your new work borg. i guess that's just normal, feeling a bit reluctant to go back to work after being unemployed for sometime. anyway, you'll soon get the hang of it and eventually, your new work will be a normal part of your daily grind. besides, i'm sure you'll feel better when you get your first salary. cheers!!!

Thank you for that! What's also bothering me is that since its a new job and its a new environment, there will also be new people. i know its another way of meeting people but I feel nervous during first days... Have a nice day nilugo!
