Have you ever been conned by another person?

Usually salesmen (no offence intended for the honest sales professional out there) are the BEST con artists around. They will tell you all of the best features and advantages of particular product you are about to purchase, just so that they can receive their potential commission off. Some of my friends are in sales and they taught me a number of tricks and tactics to be mindful of when you're speaking to a salesperson. One of those tricks is the never tell a sales person the actual amount of money you have to spend on a certain product. The plain and simple reason is because they will attempt to suck every penny out of what you have readily available. Although their logic may be, well you planned on spending that amount of money anyway, and you had it available to spend, so what's the problem. The problem is you only need to purchase goods or services that will be beneficial to your bottom line. I'm not saying all sales people are bad, but I'm saying you should be careful of a lot of them. Some other con artists are distant or close family members. Especially if they fell into some type of financial hardship and need to borrow money for you. For me, if I have it to loan to a family member or friend for that matter. I will loan it without the expectation of ever seeing the money again. That attitude has prevented me from wanting to hurt people that can't return what they originally borrowed. Plus it keeps the peace, if they don't ever return it. Now if they don't ever return it, I don't ask for it, I just make a mental note not to loan to them in the future. what say you, ever been conned by a salesperson, relative, or friend? How did you feel? Were you able to recover any of your money or did you decide to let it go?

hi I never meet any salespersons. Even if any of relatives come up with some ideas of selling, i politely refer them to my hubby. My hubby is very good in handling a sales person. I know there are some really authentic and honest saleman. With all the respect to salesman community, i can say that i'm so easily conned or convinced by their art of speech that i decided never to attend any salesman. For me, it's even difficult to find out who is good and who isn't. I don't disappoint them, i just tell them to meet my hubby as he takes all the purchasing decisions. That's how I manage not to be conned so far.

That is a good observation on sales person I think, yes in me case and experience , a lot of them fool you to purchase their merchandise, in my case I tend to get away from them when I do my purchase and just go straight to the product I want and don't ask question from them
