A typical bedtime for my children is 9pm and they are 5 and 11months old. My 11mth old actually goes down around 8:30 with no struggle but gets up around 12 a.m. My 5
year old, although getting better, takes more time to go to sleep.
At what time do you put your children to bed? Do you struggle with this? How old are they?

My daughter’s bedtime is about 7:30 each night and she is 4. That is about the time that we head into her bedroom. She usually gets one or two stories read to her and then she will play with books in her bed until about 8 and fall asleep.
We would put her to bed later, but then she would be up a lot and constantly calling us to come out of her room and play. Her doctor suggested letting her unwind in bed with a few books or a small toy and it worked great for us.

My daughter is 5 years old and she sleeps at 10 pm. she wait for her daddy to go to bed but normally she watch wow wow wubbzy first. I don't really struggle much if I ask her that it's time for bed.She would go straight to her room and take our cat with her.

My daughter is almost 2 and we have NO problem with bed time. Her bed time is around 9 930 at the latest - her choice. If I haven't said bed time and she is tired she is telling me - MOM BED MOM BED. LOL I think its funny when she does it. Because she will say mom bed mom bed then walk over to the stair case and wait for me. If I don't come right away she will yell MOM BED.
Once she is asleep the only time she gets up is if she has to go potty. Otherwise she sleeps till about 830 9am.
I am sooo very lucky!

I put my 8 yr old to bed at 8:30 and she gives me no problem at all. She has a tv in her room and she lots of times goes to bed at 8 so she can have 1 hour of tv. If not, she goes at 8:30 and gets 1/2 hour of tv. Usually by 9 she is sound asleep anyways, so I just turn off the tv.
All of my kids have tv's in their rooms and have since they were little.

Well I have two kids that go to bed at 8:30 on school nights they are 8 and 9. Then I have two kids that go to bed at about 9:30 on school nights and they are 13 and 14. Then I have one that goes to bed between 10:30 and 11:00 on school nights and she is 15. Now on weekends they all will stay up until about midnight. I do not have much of a problem with them just the odd night on school nights with the 8 and 9 year old.
