No, but you shouldn't put a cap on the bottle because it might burst. That happen to me once, lol.

I've also heard that if you have a bottle of water in your car and it freezes overnight and thaws out again you shouldnt drink it. It kinda makes sense if you think about it. When the water and bottle thaw out particles of plastic melt down and end up in the water and then you consume the water, therefore consuming the plastic, so to some degree it makes sense

I hadn't heard about that one, but after thinking about it for a couple of minutes it kind of makes sense. If the bottle is used and not sterilized before you freeze water in it there are some germs and bacteria that do survive in frozen water. It could pose health problems especially if you are giving that water to a baby, toddler or child. I have frozen water in used soft plastic drink bottles and haven't had any health problems from it...but I'm pretty sturdy. I will, from now on, sterilize my drink bottles before I freeze water in them, just in case. Thank you for the heads up.

Hello! I don't think it is harmful to health if we drink water filled in plastic soft drink bottles.I have been keeping water in these bottles for the last twenty years or so and not faced any health hazards so far.I have not heard even if it effects our health in any way.thanx.
