Display Screen shrunked

I turned on my computer and was surprised to find the size of the display had become smaller and the symbols to reduce the size or to extend it had been reversed. I clicked of F11 and it did not make any difference. This coincided with a short "spy ware attack detect" appeared at the bottom of the screen and there is no mechanism to get rid of it.

What operating system do you have? Windows XP? Vista? what program deteced the spyware?

I am using XP and I don't know what is that program that was showing the message. hehehe. I was new to computers.

It sounds to me as though you have corruption in your system. There is no way to fix this except in person physically. If I was in your situation, I would take my PC to a local PC repair center and get it reinstalled after backing up your important documents. You can back up on an external hard drive or on DVDs or CDs if you don't have that much data.
If you know how to repair, then you can do it. But seems you are new to this. Thank you.
