do you go to the cemetery to visit your dead love one

yes we do here in the philippines. we light a candle and pray for their souls. its like giving a respect and remembering them. we also do the cleaning of their tomb and put flowers on it.

i am from the Philippines too. we often do rituals like that during all saints day. we also have a family gathering at my mother's side where in we visit the tomb of my grand mother together. we pray together and offer them flowers and light candles.

all saints - all saints day
This is very good tradition in all Catholic countries. All cemeteries look like a big city. It is very spiritual experience. Lots of flowers and candles. Each grave has few candles. People also place candles on unknown grave to to show respect. People stay next to each grave and pray....
