If you got 20,000 $ from a lottery . At the same time you got admission in your dream University. And the study may cost 19,000 $. Will you prefer to study or Keep the money you got?

Education of course. Money can be squandered, and $20K is not exactly very much in today's world and can be spent quickly enough if one is not prudent about money management. It may be different if one invests that money wisely and make it grow over the years. But a good education is a passport to a bright future, and I'm talking about many years of a possible great future ahead. I should know, because I studied for many years till I got a degree in the university, worked almost 25 years and have been earning relatively well compared to my friends who did not have that opportunity to advance their education. My university education was a great investment for me because it opened doors for me in my career.

By the way, welcome to myLot. I hope you will enjoy your time here sharing views and opinions with others, make friends and earn some pocket money in the process. MyLot is very trusted when it comes to payouts. They pay very timely and consistently, so you don't have to worry if you will get paid when you have earned more than $10. Just enjoy the experience, put some quality in your posts and add value to this site, and don't insult or quarrel with others, and you will be fine. I ahve been paid 4 times by myLot previously, and should be getting my 5th payout around 13th November, which is likely their next payday.

I would go to the university. I love learning. I think that knowledge is more valuable than money. This is what I hate about society. It teaches us that money is success, but success is so much more than that. Life is so much more than that. Though knowledge is so much more than education. There are so many educated idiots out there. I dont think that people should skip out on school just because they have money nor do I think that people should go to school just to make money. I think that you should seek knowledge for personal interest and enlightenment. We should find things that make us happy, beyond material things. And on another note, the $20,000 is only going to last so long and lottery winners are known for blowing all the money real quick. If you go to school, you can get a real good job and make more than that. "Give a man a fish, feed him for a day. Teach the man to fish, feed him for life." I think that it is the same concept here. If you are just given money, you only have it for a short while, but if you learn to make money, you can always make money.

ok nice you think selecting money to be unfortunate. And you said that your situations forced you to do so. Anyway no problem . Study well and earn well.

well, that question is quite tricky. generally speaking, EDUCATION is of higher importance than money. one reason being, you can earn what you spent once you've accomplished your studies. education is like health (it is wealth). this, however, does not mean that education is UNIVERSALLY premier than money. The thing is, everything is circumstantial. what if you are born of a poor family or if your parents are sick? this premise would make money irrevitably important than education. hence the question is relative. in my disposition, even if i wanted to study at my dream university, i'll consider my responsibility to help the family--being the eldest and the breadwinner in the family. thus, i'll look for alternatives. i might study at a pretty good university that asks for lesser payment. something like that

I prefer to study. Money won't last long. Education, is something that money can't buy. Sometimes, money alone will not satisfy the needs of a man. But, since I already have finished my college days, I'll keep the money. lol

if my condition is the same with what you said ,i think i will spent the sum of money on education ,because money is still if you do nothing and just keep it in your pocket ,but you can earn more if you spent it on education ,because we will learn more in a famous university ,and then we can find a good job ,by which we can earn more in a day ,and i believe we earn in this good will more than from a lottery .
