whole year round there are several bagpackers from around the world visiting sydney australia and i always wonder if they carry their laptops and electronic devices with them all along too...i cnt live a day without my laptop, as it is my way of telling my self i am still ALIVE and NOT ALONE (as it has to be always connected) so anyone from mylot community have tried those long days of bagpacking, traveling arround for adventure, being on the most dangerous places, and exploring. share some wonderful ideas why bagpacking is worth to try..

i have never tried it. but i have a friedn that does that. he has his gadgets with him. he only has a backpack of stuff. and he said he moves from one place to another with only few clothings and some stuff with him. he finds it exciting and he learns a lot from the places he goes to.

I have not tried backpacking b4, and i'm really interested in it. Out of so many frenz that i have, only one of them shared my interest.. hehe ^_^ We were talking about it when we are in the army.. But once we finished our army, we became so busy with our work and life that we din managed to complete our plan.. Till yesterday, i contacted him again, and right now i'm still waiting for his reply, for i'm really eager to backpack ^_^ Cant wait in travel to different countries, experience their culture as well as explore those regions ^_^ I really hope to go, so that i won't regret it in the later stages of my life ^_^

I have tried backpacking and really enjoyed it. When I was 18 I traveled Europe by train and stayed in youth hostels. At age 20 I traveled around the world and had a working holiday visa for Australia. When I was 30 I traveled to New Zealand and stopped off in the South Pacific Islands. In my thirties I had an adventure in Central America, staying in a tree house and going caving. I didn't get any interest in computers until I was 28 years old and I went to Internet cafes. I got a laptop when I was 35 and I would be worried about it getting stolen or damaged if I traveled with it. I have even found Internet on islands in the Maldives. These days I have a toddler son so I stay with him in locally owned guest houses. I remember with fondness my backpacker days.
