i don't know much.. but as far as i know.. teh old songs have the soul, and if we listen to them, we would sent to 'another world' but new songs are absolutely not.most of them are only pop!

This is somehow ever crossed in my mind. I guess old songs everlasting because there are too many new songs at the same time. This can make new songs easily forgotten.

I have also observed that one. If we examine carefully the lyrics of the old songs and the new songs we will spot the difference. The lyrics of the old songs are meaningful and it has also a very good melody. If you listen to those old songs you will really enjoy it. The evident can be shown through the revival songs that singer sings. However as of now, some of the songs are not that pleasant to hear. The lyrics are quite vague and sometimes I think it is just a noise but not a song because you can no longer hear melody.

I guess it's because of its popularity that time, that many people love that song and plays over and over in the stations, movie soundtracks, or in karaoke. Also by doing anniversary concerts of the artist, makes people do remember.
