Fame Bux Paid Me

This has been a good week for surprises. 
First I got my check from SurveySpot.com, then this morning I had a notice in my e mail that Fame Bux had paid me. I didn't really expect it this soon. I requested payment 10/29/08 and received this morning 11/01/08. So now I can join in the hoopla about Fame Bux! As always there's a banner in my profile if you want to sign up under me.

I'm curious how long it took you to get paid buy surveyspot. I've been doing surveys from that for years and I was almost starting to think it was a scam but then I got paid, but it was only $4.00. I'll tell you one thing,I've played that slot machine hundreds of times and never have won anything and many times I got 100 entries. But let's not talk about the 100. Even the 25. I'll bet if I went to the store and bought 25 instant win lottery tickets, one of them would be a winner. Maybe not a big winner but still, I've been with them for so long and got nothing.

I gave up on the slot machine thing. It takes too much time and the odds are as high as the state lottery!
I can't remember when I did my first survey but I think it was in August. They say it takes six weeks before the people doing the survey pay, so I kept checking when I thought it had been six weeks and there was nothing there. The first one was for $5. I quit checking, did a couple more surveys and when I was clearing out my email one day I decided to check my account again at the first of October. Sure enough I had $9.00 in there, so I submitted a payment request and received my payment three weeks later.
I've heard several people say they've received payment without submitting a request, so I don't know if they clear your account on a certain time table or how they do that.
