For any readers in other country who don't know about this, here's the story. You can find the phonecalls on youtube too. http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,1855660,00.html I personally like Russell Brand, and though I think that what he said was distasteful I think it's all gone a bit over the top now. I can understand him quitting but it's a shame the director of Radio 2 has had to quit too. I think Johnathon Ross should keep his job too as both presenters have apologised it did sound like they just got a bit carried away, and it's not their job to edit the show. The phone calls have also been heard on the news out of context by a lot of people, Andrew Sachs was supposed to appear on the show but didn't turn up that's why they were prank calling him, and they just misjudged how people would react to it. he has done lots f similar things and no one freaked out before. I haven't listened to the show for a while but I've heard people on the it (not just Brand) say far worse things Sadly I just think all the fuss is just because they picked on Andrew Sachs, if it had been someone like Timmy Mallet no one would have cared. What does everyone else think about the fuss that's been made? Do you think Johnathon Ross deserves to be sacked?
