My little green fairy

Haloween - My little green fairy

I love fairies and I always envision them dressed in green. My term 'green fairy'. I don't know if my Daughter-in-law remembered that when she bought my grand daughters costume this year or not, but here's my little green fairy! I thought she was so cute and she was the only trick or treater I had last night.

Cute! It's a Tinkerbell costume. That's traditionally green. We had many trick or treaters yesterday. Many cute ones, too. And one kid in a pimp costume who kept telling me (and apparently all the neighbors) to vote for Obama. I'm not sure if it was to actually get me to vote for him or if the costume combination was supposed to scare me away from voting for him, lol. It's too bad that innocent kids are being dragged into politics.

Tinker bell! Yes! I think that's why I've always associated green with fairies. I was 17 when I saw Peter Pan the first time (a Loooooonnnnnngggg time ago. I saw the original when it first came out)It was a deeply embedded memory that you just now let out. Thanks!

She is beautiful and so is her costume. My Great-Niece that i play with during the day while her parents work, dressed as Raggedy Ann complete with red hair. They ALL know how i feel about old cloth dolls and red hair! She was adorable. She was also my only trick-or-treater.

I have a picture of my Raggedy Ann, but have no idea how to put it on here. I swear i wanted to pick her up and put her on the bed right where Raggedy Ann belongs!

Awwww, my daughter was Raggedy Ann, too. She made her own costume from scratch. She was so proud of herself, and rightly so. She did a very good job considering that was the first thing she's ever made. The only thing she didn't have was the red yarn hair.....her wig was too small. But, she was still cute. Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that she is 23*LOL*

So sweet looking. I had 150 to 200 kids at my steps last night. Quite a few Tinkerbell outfits as well. One girl, maybe 8, had wings with green blinking LED lights on it. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

I wished I had taken pictures last night really. The whole costume was homemade actually. It was the best costume I saw last night as well. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

How cute! I wonder if the wings came that way or if they were added.

hi beaddoodler your granddaughter is a real cutie in her tinkerbell costume. I hope she had a lot of fun trick or treating 'and got her ton of candy too. When I was little, a long time back we hadnt got to the trick or treating business yet so I missedout on that. but I got to do it with my own two kids and that was a lot of fun, specially when we went to grandma's house for trick or treating. We had to think up something new and different each year for costumes too. a lot of fun.

I lived out in the country when I was little and I didn't know anything about trick or treat. The community always had a carnival at the school or the community church had a halloween party, and there was always lots of fun and games, but no trick or treat.

She's so cute! I might be a bit prejudice, though. We had no trick or treaters last night. I guess it was a good thing, though. Hubby went to bed around 8:30, I fell asleep on the couch about the same time. Got up and went to be at 9:30.*L*

I was thinking "what no kids in your neighborhood?", but I guess the neighbor's kids grew up just like yours did. Time does fly!
